How it Works

As easy as pushing a button: Press the button on the pendant for a crystal-clear connection
with our monitoring center.

1. Press the button in your pendant from anywhere in or around your home.

2. A call is placed through your telephone line to our secure 24/7/365 Emergency Monitoring Center.

3. A throroughly trained certified Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Operator answers the call.

4. Your pertinent medical and contact information, provided by you at sign up, is displayed on the operator’s screen.

5. You talk through the pendant with our EMT-Certified Operator who assesses the situation and dispatches emergency responders (ambulance) and/or contacts loved ones or neighbors. In a situation where the Operator can’t hear you, an ambulance is immediately dispatched.

6. The operator informs emergency responders of your condition. Precious time is gained as they prepare to treat your condition.

7. The operator stays in touch and if there are changes in your condition updates family and responders as needed.

SUPER-EASY INSTALLATION:

STEP 1

Place the MediPendant™ base station on a stable surface located near a power outlet and an available phone jack.

STEP 2

Connect the AC/DC Adapter into the BLACK plug in the back of the base station and connect the other end of the AC/DC Adapter into a standard power outlet.

STEP 3

Plug the telephone cord (provided) into the yellow jack on the back of the base and plug the other end of the telephone cord into the telephone jack in the wall. *You can now walk away from the base station. *

STEP 4

Press and hold the LARGE ROUND GREY button on the pendant for 3 seconds. You will hear the pendant say, “Your emergency call is now being dialed, please stand by.”

STEP 5

Wait a few moments to hear the operator’s voice through the pendant. You are now connected and can start talking and listening to the operator’s instructions. YOUR MediPendant™ SYSTEM IS NOW ACTIVATED AND READY FOR USE.
