Free Shipping
Shipping fees are included for standard 5-7 days shipping. Expedite 2-3 day shipping fee is $18.95. Return ground shipping costs are covered by True Med Alert when using shipping labels generated by True Med Alert.
No Long Term Contract.
With True Med Alert there are no long-term contracts. You pay on a month-by-month basis. You can return the equipment at any time and True Med Alert will stop the monthly recurring billing for the immediate following month based on the shipping date considering a 5-day grace period into the month.
For example, if the equipment is shipped back to us on any day between June 1st and June 5th, the month of June will not be charged. If the equipment is shipped back to us between June 6th and June 30th, June will be charged, but July will not be charged.
Deposit.
In order to protect the equipment and keep prices low for responsible subscribers, True Med Alert requires a $150 deposit for the MediPendant™. The deposit will be returned upon return of the equipment when the subscriber decides to cancel the service.
30-Day Risk-Free Trial
There will be no charges during the first 30 calendar days starting from the day after the equipment is received by the customer. We will only run an authorization for the deposit amount ($150) on your credit card. If the equipment is shipped back (shipping date) within those 30 days there will be no charges at all.
First Charges and Subsequent Monthly Charges
The first two charges will be for (a) the $150 deposit and (b) the prorated monthly fee for the remaining days in the calendar month after the 30-day trial expires plus the fee for the upcoming month. Starting from the second charge and on it will be for the full monthly fee for the upcoming calendar month.
For example, if the equipment was received by the customer on June 10th the 30-day trial will end on July 10th. The first day for which the service is charged will be July 11th. The first service charge (besides the deposit) will be for the prorated monthly fee corresponding to the period between July 11th and July 31st, plus the full monthly fee for August. The first charge is made during the first 5 business days starting from the first day for which the service is charged. Subsequent charges are made during the first 5 business days of each calendar month.
Warranty and Replacement Policy
The MediPendant™ is manufactured to high standards and specifications that are designed to provide you security and peace of mind for many years.
Under our Basic Plan True Med Alert will replace any MediPendant™ system and/or components which prove to be defective. Equipment which has been subject to abuse, misuse, alteration, unauthorized repair, or damage as a result of Acts of God beyond the control of True Med Alert, is not covered by the warranty and will be replaced at a charge to the customer.
Under our Premium Plan all damage is covered by the warranty.
True Med Alert will decide in each case if the equipment will be partially or totally replaced.
Returned Equipment Conditions
All returned items must be undamaged and delivered in their original box. True Med Alert shall have the right of final determination of the existence and cause of damage to the equipment. True Med Alert will return the deposit totally or partially accordingly. The process can take up to 15 business days and in case True Med Alert determines there is damage it will mail an explanatory letter to the customer.
Subscriber accounts will continue to be charged until all equipment items are received by True Med Alert.
Portable Service Available in All 50 states
Our service is available in all 50 states. If you move, or even if you just spend time in different locations, you can take your system will you. Just call us and let us know where you will be or else we will not be able to effectively dispatch emergency responders.

If you want to use the warranty, or if you want to get a shipping label for a return, you must contact our 24/7 Customer Service team at 877-755-1370, option 2. We will mail you a shipping label. We can also send it by email so you can print it and ship it sooner. If you decide you ship it on your own, you must ship it to our mailing address below.
